What we can include.

  • New commercial and industrial floor slabs
  • Polished and stained concrete finishes
  • Textured or decorative surface options
  • Coordination with equipment and adjacent construction

Start with traffic and daily maintenance

A customer-facing retail floor and a warehouse aisle serve different purposes. Share vehicle traffic, storage, cleaning routines, wet areas and equipment requirements. These details help establish the required slab and finish rather than choosing a surface solely from its color or sheen.

Assess an existing floor before refinishing

Previous coatings, repairs, cracks and surface wear can affect the proposed finish and final appearance. We review the existing condition and discuss preparation before pricing a finish system. A polished or stained treatment does not automatically resolve structural movement or water-related problems.

Coordinate the floor with the fit-out

Partitions, equipment, utility connections and access for other trades affect when floor work can happen. Protection after finishing matters too. Identify the construction sequence and responsibility for keeping the surface protected so the floor is ready for the intended handover.

Pricing the complete scope

What affects the estimate?

Floor area, new construction versus existing surface preparation, condition, finish selection, access and phasing influence cost. Discuss expectations for aggregate exposure, color variation and repaired areas before comparing finishing proposals.

Before we meet.

Start with the property address and a description of the work. These details help us prepare for a useful conversation:

  • Floor plans, use of each area and loading requirements
  • Photos and known history of an existing floor
  • Preferred finish, cleaning needs and fit-out schedule

We discuss the scope and arrange a site visit. Your proposal identifies the included work, responsibilities and project-specific warranty terms. Changes to scope, cost or timing are documented before the changed work begins.

Questions about this work.

All project FAQs
Can you polish an existing concrete floor?

It needs a condition review first. Existing repairs, coatings and deterioration affect suitability and appearance. We discuss preparation and finish expectations before establishing the scope.

Can the floor be part of a new building package?

Yes. We can include floor construction with foundations and other concrete work, or discuss the full commercial project. The proposal identifies the concrete and finishing responsibilities.
